Privacy Policy

1. The StemMaster app

Your audio stays local. All analysis, mixing and mastering runs on your computer. The app never uploads, streams, or fingerprints your audio. The built-in engine needs no internet connection at all; the optional AI engine does, and sends only the measurements described below.

No account, no telemetry. There is no sign-in, no usage tracking, no crash reporting, and no analytics SDK. We cannot see how — or whether — you use the app.

The app stores your settings and session files locally on your machine. They are yours; deleting the app's data folder removes them.

2. Optional network features

• Bring-your-own-key AI (optional). If you enable the LLM engine and enter your own API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, or a compatible provider), the app sends compact measurement summaries of your stems — numbers and labels, never audio — directly from your machine to that provider. Those requests are governed by your provider's privacy policy. Your key is stored in your operating system's own credential store — Windows Credential Manager, or the login Keychain on a Mac — not in a plain-text file, and can be removed in Settings at any time.
• Update check (optional network call). At startup the app may fetch a small version file from nomzstudios.com to tell you when an update exists. This is an ordinary HTTP request; we send no identifiers and store nothing about it. It downloads nothing without your action.

3. Purchases

Sales are processed by our merchant-of-record checkout provider (Polar). They handle your payment details under their own privacy policy; we never see your card number. We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver your license key, handle activations (up to 3 machines), honour the 14-day refund policy, and answer support requests.

4. This website

nomzstudios.com is a static site served by Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Cloudflare may keep standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, user agent) to operate and protect the service, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

One scoped exception: if you arrive here by clicking one of our ads, that advertiser's measurement pixel loads on that visit so we can tell the ad worked — TikTok's, under TikTok's privacy policy, or Meta's, under Meta's privacy policy. Which one loads depends on which ad you clicked, and it is recognisable by the ad parameters in the address bar. Visit the site any other way — typed address, search, a shared link — and no tracking code loads at all.

When that happens we also store one item in your browser recording which platform sent you (nothing else — no identifier, no profile), so that if you go on to buy, the confirmation page can report the sale to that one platform rather than guessing or telling both. It expires after 7 days, it is only ever set for visitors who arrived from an ad, and clearing your browser data removes it.

5. Email

If you write to support, we keep the correspondence so we can help you (and prove license ownership later if you ask us to). We don't add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent, and we never sell or share your details with anyone.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time what personal data we hold about you (in practice: your order email and any support correspondence), ask us to correct or delete it, or raise any privacy concern. Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the UAE Personal Data Protection Law may give you additional rights; we honour reasonable requests regardless of jurisdiction.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to how the app behaves (for example, any new network feature) will also be called out in the release notes.
